On May Day this old No Non-cents Nanna and the Man in the Wheelchair got a pleasant surprise as we enjoyed our lunch in Old Colorado City.
Out of blue as we sat in Nan and Pops, a great little sandwhich shop, we were delivered a May Day Basket by delightful children from a class at Mountain Song School in the Colorado Springs.
Isn’t this May Day Basket pretty?
Note to the children of Mountain Song School:
Thank you. You made my day!
What blessed my button the most was the random deeds of kindness your teacher promoted as she lead you, an impressively well mannered group of students, around sidewalks of our historical and quaint area of the city.
I want to say Thank you with my big No Non-cents Nanna Hugs to each and every one of you students of life for your kindness. The May Day Basket surprise is worth more to me than Million Dollars to me.
To the teachers and and parents: Your children did you proud!
Keep making those good choices!
